Who am I?

Hello! I’m Gianluca, the person behind this crazy trip.
To me, the best way to travel is with a road trip: the freedom to change direction, stop whenever and wherever you want—that’s unbeatable.

When I bought my little MX-5, the original plan was to use it on track. But that changed quickly. I discovered how fun it is to take a tiny, not-so-comfy sports car on long road trips. And the best part? I can still use it on track days too.

I totally get why the MX-5 community is so strong and passionate around the world and, thanks to a friend (ciao Toby) who planted the seed for this idea, I decided to give the road trip a little bit of challenge. That’s why Nordkapp and that’s why during winter.
